Condensing boilers for heating with the option to connect an external storage tank, Junkers, Vaillant and others
Gas condensing boilers with water heating in an external storage tank means that potable water is not heated directly in the boiler, but in a storage tank located next to the boiler. On the bottom side of the storage tank there is a heating coil, through which hot heating water from the boiler flows, and this way the system transfers heat directly to the potable water held in the storage tank. The boiler contains a three-way valve that can switch or direct the flow of water either to the radiators or to the coil in the external heater or storage tank. This solution has many advantages, the biggest being always heated and usable water at every draw-off point in the house.
It is also possible to use a circulation loop, which ensures a constant circulation of hot water in the pipes throughout the house, so there's no need to wait for the cold water to drain from the tap. The water temperature in the storage tank can be set on the boiler using a sensor connected to the water storage tank. We offer various types of storage tanks, both wall-mounted and floor-standing. Storage tanks are made from 80 litres up to solar water heaters with a capacity of 500 litres.

- What exactly does "option to connect a storage tank" mean? The boiler itself doesn't heat hot water, but it's ready for you to add an external storage tank (water heater) at any time, choosing the size and location yourself.
- Do I have to buy the storage tank right away together with the boiler? No, the boiler also works on its own just for heating – you can buy and connect the storage tank at any later time.
- How big a storage tank should I choose? Usually 80 to 200 litres for a household; for higher hot water consumption (more bathrooms, a larger family) a larger-capacity storage tank is worthwhile, or even a solar water heater up to 500 litres.
- Can a hot water circulation loop also be connected to these boilers? Yes, on most models a circulation pump can be added so that hot water is available immediately at every draw-off point without waiting.
