- How do I choose the right fitting size? The thread size (e.g. 1/2", 3/4", 1") must exactly match the thread size on the pipe or fixture you are connecting the fitting to - designations such as FF (female-female), MF (male-female) and similar abbreviations in the name indicate the thread type on each side of the fitting.
- What do the abbreviations FF and MF in the name mean? F (female, internal thread) and M (male, external thread) indicate the thread type on that side of the fitting - for example "FF" means an internal thread on both sides, while "MF" means an external thread on one side and an internal thread on the other.

Ahoj, chcem pripojiť radiátor ku kopeniu a na potrubí mám vonkajší závit 3/4" - toto šróbenie mi teda bude vyhovovať, alebo potrebujem iný typ?

Áno, toto šróbenie má práve kombináciu vonkajšieho a vnútorného závitu 3/4", takže na pripojenie radiátora k potrubiu s vonkajším závitom by malo byť to pravé. Len nezabudni pri montáži použiť teflónovú pásku alebo konopie s pastou, samotný závit bez tesnenia netesní. Ak si nie si istý typom závitu na armatúre, skontroluj, či ide o G závit podľa ISO 228 - tento produkt je presne na to robený.
