Brass plugs are used to close the external thread at the end of a pipe, fitting or valve. Unlike a cap, which screws onto an external thread, a plug screws into an internal thread.
They are available in the most common sizes 3/8", 1/2", 3/4" and 1", suitable for both heating and water systems.
