The system polystyrene insulation board UHP52 (STIROTERMAL DUO 30) for underfloor heating is suitable for very high loads, industry, car service centres, and production halls.
The reflective film is made of hardened PS plastic with a thickness of 0.6 mm.
All system boards feature a so-called "lock" that guarantees the overlap of each side of the board with the next, thereby preventing concrete from penetrating beneath the polystyrene.
The top of the board consists of octagonal studs (mushrooms) with overhangs that allow quick and easy installation (the pipe won't pop out afterwards) of any pipe with a thickness of 14 to 18 mm.
On the inside of the board, beneath the studs, there are 5 mm small protrusions that ensure the pipe is perfectly embedded in the screed compound, including from below. This ensures perfect heat transfer to the heating board along the entire circumference of the pipe.
