The VAZ mounting tube is the basic installation element for fitting local (decentralised) heat recovery ventilation units Vaillant recoVAIR VAR 60/2 D and DW into perimeter masonry. Technical description and function

The mounting tube is installed into a pre-prepared core drill hole with a diameter of 162 mm, running perpendicularly through the entire thickness of the perimeter wall from the interior towards the exterior. Its purpose is to create a straight, thermally and acoustically separated channel between the interior and exterior, into which the recoVAIR unit itself is then inserted. The package also includes 2 dust protection caps, which protect the tube opening from contamination during construction work until the final unit is installed.
