Vitotrol controllers for Viessmann boilers
For Viessmann boilers we offer original controllers from the Vitotrol range - from simpler room thermostats of the Vitotrol 100 (UTDB, UTDB-RF, UTDB-RF2, OT) type to the more advanced weather-compensated Vitotrol 200-A and 200-E controllers with digital communication directly with the boiler's electronics.
The controllers are available in both wired and wireless (RF) versions, so you can choose the solution based on whether you want to run a cable to the boiler or prefer easier wireless installation. The range also includes an external room and outdoor temperature sensor, which, combined with the controller, enables precise weather-compensated operation adapted to current outdoor conditions.
Vitotrol controllers are compatible with most current and older Viessmann boilers equipped with the relevant bus (OT or KM-BUS). When choosing the specific type, we're happy to advise based on your boiler model to ensure full functionality including weekly programs.
Frequently Asked Questions
- What is the difference between Vitotrol 100 and Vitotrol 200? Vitotrol 100 is a simpler room controller with a weekly program; Vitotrol 200-A/200-E offers more advanced weather-compensated functions and digital communication with the boiler.
- Is a wireless version available? Yes, the UTDB-RF and UTDB-RF2 types communicate by radio, eliminating the need to run a cable to the boiler.
- Does the controller work with both older and newer Viessmann boilers? Vitotrol is compatible with most Viessmann boilers equipped with the relevant bus (OT or KM-BUS); for older models we recommend checking the connection type.
- What is the outdoor temperature sensor for? Combined with the controller it enables weather-compensated operation - the boiler adjusts its output to the current outdoor temperature.
