Product detailed description
2x elbow 45° AZB 608/1, AZB 80/125. Flue pipe for condensing boilers.
- long-term resistance to the effects of condensate
- easy handling
- partially eliminates the need for additional insulation
- quick processing
- permanent tightness
- suitable for various types of condensing and low-temperature appliances
- extension or supplementing possible at any time
- easy storage and transport
The plastic flue gas exhaust system is approved for temperatures up to 120°C. It meets the high requirements set for flue gas exhaust systems for heating appliances:
- Airtightness of the system (approved for both positive and negative pressure)
- Tightness against condensate formation
- Resistance to acids contained in the condensate
The plastic flue gas exhaust system can be used both in new construction and when renovating a chimney.
Frequently asked questions
- How can I check that “2x elbow 45°” fits my appliance exactly? The most reliable way is to compare the exact type/catalogue designation from your appliance's (boiler, tank, water heater) rating plate with the compatibility stated directly in this product's name and technical parameters above. If in doubt, write to us with the exact type designation of your appliance (including the serial number, if available) - we will be happy to verify compatibility for you.
- Why is it important to use an original/compatible part rather than a universal substitute? Parts such as seals, sensors or safety components (safety valves, thermal fuses) are usually dimensioned precisely to the parameters of the specific appliance (pressure, temperature, sensor electrical resistance) - an incorrect part can cause reduced function, leaks, or, in the case of safety components, a real safety risk.
- Must this part be installed by a professional? For simpler, mechanical parts (e.g. seals, covers, small accessories without a connection to electricity, gas or the pressure section) a handy home user can usually manage the replacement after disconnecting the appliance from the power supply and pipework. However, for any intervention in the gas, electrical or pressure section of the appliance (e.g. sensors located directly in the combustion chamber, safety valves, electrical modules), we always recommend a service technician - especially since such intervention could affect the validity of the warranty on the whole appliance.
- How do I know that this part is worn and needs replacing? Common signs are visible wear/cracking (for seals and rubber parts), water or flue gas leaking at the part, an error message on the control display (for sensors and electronic modules), or a clearly reduced function of the appliance (e.g. irregular combustion for burner parts). If in doubt, the safest option is to have the condition assessed by a service technician during the regular annual inspection.
- Is it worth keeping this part at home as a spare/service item? For parts that are subject to normal wear (seals, fuses, small mechanical parts) and whose failure would mean a shutdown of heating or hot water, keeping a spare in stock is a sensible precaution - especially for an older appliance for which the part may be harder to obtain quickly.
