The control panel protects the pumps against overload, short circuit or excessive heating using protective devices with manual reset. Types ED3M, ED3MHS and ED2.5 to ED30T SD allow connection of a signal via thermal protection, if the pump is fitted with one. The panel is supplied complete with terminals for connecting the pump motor and float switches. It is fitted with terminals for an alarm float and terminals (potential-free contact) for remotely triggering an acoustic or visual alarm. Types ED3MHS and ED2.4MHS are fitted with an automatic device for increasing the starting torque.
