The EHT model is an electric pressurized instant water heater with hydraulic switching. Due to its design, it is intended for connection to only one water outlet point and universal installation below or above a washbasin / kitchen sink. If needed, the heater can be rotated with its outlets in any direction, both vertically and horizontally - 360° installation. The heater can be connected to either a pressurized or unpressurized water tap. When installed below the sink - to a standard washbasin tap. When installed above the sink, the heater can be mounted directly onto any sink tap with an outlet spacing of 30 mm. Water heating occurs at the moment water flows through the heater, so energy is consumed only during the heating process. Thanks to the use of the heater directly at the point of use and short water pipes, heat losses are completely eliminated. An indicator light allows monitoring of the ongoing heating process. EHT instant water heaters are not suitable for supplying a shower as a point of use. The ELÍZ EHT 5.5 instant water heater is supplied with an economical aerator insert (flow regulator), which helps achieve an optimal water temperature at an economical flow rate, especially at low inlet cold water temperature. It is equipped with a thermal fuse against water overheating with a reset function.
