The ELX Compact series models are electronically controlled instantaneous water heaters with pressurized operation and hydraulic switching. Due to their design, they are intended for installation into a water system, even for multiple points of use. The heater is suitable for a washbasin, a kitchen sink, and also for supplying a shower as a point of use. The advantage of the ELX series instantaneous water heaters is the backlit touch LCD display with an on/off heating button and the option of precise setting of the desired water temperature. The electronics also provide measurement of the current water flow rate and the heater's power input. Comfortable use of the instantaneous water heater and water heating are achieved through the use of a microprocessor, which controls the water heating and maintains a constant hot water outlet temperature even when the inlet water temperature and pipe pressure fluctuate. The electronics automatically adjust the power input of the heating elements so that the set outlet water temperature is achieved (smoothly increasing or decreasing the power input). The automatic power adjustment makes the heater a powerful and economical model. Water heating takes place at the moment when water flows through the heater, so energy is consumed only during the water heating process. Thanks to the use of the heater directly at the point of use and short water distribution lines, heat losses are eliminated.
