This range includes CIMM ERE series expansion vessels designed specifically for closed central heating systems. The vessel compensates for changes in the volume of heating water caused by heating and cooling, protecting the boiler, pump and pipework from excessive pressure. They are available in a wide range of capacities from 8 to 500 litres, suitable for family houses and larger operations alike.

Can a vessel be added to an existing boiler? Yes, if the original vessel does not have enough capacity, an additional one can be fitted in parallel via a T-piece.
How long does an expansion vessel last? With correct pre-charge pressure and no gas leaking from the membrane, usually 8-10 years; regular inspection is recommended.
