- Shower cubicles for taller individuals or barrier-free use: I recommend 200 cm, sometimes even more – but with hoses over 200 cm, you need to be careful that the larger volume of the hose creates a slight resistance and may affect the pressure feeling when the water supply pressure is weak.
- Children's bathrooms: 100–125 cm, so the hose is not a safety risk (choking if children fall).
