We usually only realise its importance once a device that uses water breaks down, and we start searching for the cause of the failure. Besides the filter, the package also includes a three-quarter-inch ball valve for shutting off the water circulation, a swivel connection allowing the filter to be easily connected to a boiler with a G3/4" thread, and a wrench for opening the top part of the filter.

How the Aras 3/4" magnetic filter works

The principle of the three-quarter-inch Aras magnetic filter is based on a magnet that attracts all ferrous impurities inside the cylinder. The strong neodymium magnet, placed in the centre of the filter, is easy to remove, allowing fast and effective cleaning. At the same time, it attracts particles of iron and other metallic impurities, and in this way also captures contaminated microparticles within the system.

For proper operation, we recommend cleaning the Aras magnetic filter at least once a year. Simply close the valves at the inlet and outlet - i.e. before and after the magnet - open the drain plug, unscrew the top part of the filter, and remove and thoroughly clean the magnet released in this way.

The Aras magnetic filter can also capture non-magnetic particles present in the water. It fixes these on a stainless steel filter mesh, ensuring the system is thoroughly cleaned.
