• What is the difference between IVAR.TM 90 and IVAR.TMS 90? IVAR.TM 90 is a control thermostat without a fuse, while IVAR.TMS 90 additionally has a thermal fuse with manual reactivation; both operate in the range of +30 °C to +90 °C.
• What is the IVAR.TANKS sensor pocket used for? It allows a temperature sensor to be installed directly into the tank shell; the G1 version is copper with a SMALVER surface finish, while G2 is double copper with nickel plating.
• When is a flange needed for an electric heating element? When the tank needs to be fitted with electric heating as the main or backup heat source; the flange is selected according to the diameter of the tank neck (e.g. 180 or 290 mm).
