Manual, thermostatic and electrothermic heads for heating bodies
Thermostatic heads for heating bodies. Thermostatic heads automatically maintain the selected temperature. The temperature in each room is reliably controlled, without the need for an external power source, exactly according to your requirements. The temperature of the air flowing around the sensing element determines that your selected room temperature is maintained: if the air temperature rises, the sensing element inside the thermostatic head expands and throttles the water supply to the radiator. If the air temperature drops, the sensing element contracts and consequently opens the thermostatic valve.
Frequently asked questions
- What is the difference between a manual and a thermostatic head? A manual head only opens or closes the flow without temperature regulation, a thermostatic head automatically maintains the set room temperature according to the air temperature.
- What is an electrothermic head? A head controlled electrically, for example by a room thermostat or a control system, suitable for zone-based heating control.
- What thread do thermostatic heads fit? Most IVAR heads have a standard M30x1.5 thread, compatible with common thermostatic valves on the market.
- What is an anti-theft sleeve? An additional part that prevents the head from being easily removed from the valve, used mainly in public buildings and shared spaces.
