Wireless thermostats are used to regulate the heating temperature in the room where the thermostat – transmitter – is located. The wireless design allows the transmitter to be placed anywhere, without the need to run cables. Their range is up to 100 metres in open space. This distance decreases when passing through obstacles. They are resistant to signal interference and require no complicated setup. The thermostat receiver is placed, for example, in the boiler room and connected by wire to the boiler or another device that needs to be switched. This is two-point switching.
