Additional range for installing pipe into system insulation boards - separating and waterproofing films, metallic tape for joining and sealing film overlaps, fixing rails, bends and clips for holding the pipe at the required spacing and direction.
Fixing bends and clips are mainly used when changing pipe direction outside the grid of the system board (e.g. when connecting to a manifold) and when routing pipe away from the board - along a wall or within the floor structure without a system board.
Frequently Asked Questions
- What is the separating film used for? It separates the anhydrite or cement screed from the thermal insulation and the system board, preventing the screed from leaking into the insulation while it is being poured.
- When should a fixing clip be used instead of the board grid? Where the pipe runs outside the system board - for example when passing through a wall, connecting to a manifold, or during repairs/additional installation.
- How are film overlaps joined? With metallic tape, which ensures an airtight and watertight overlap between the individual film strips.
- What bending radius does the fixing bend ensure for the pipe? The fixing bend holds the pipe at the minimum permitted bending radius according to the pipe diameter, preventing it from kinking.
