Frequently asked questions
- What is the difference between the 3T and 3F versions? The ECO 3T is the threaded version (1/2" - 2" according to ISO 228-1), the ECO 3F is the flanged version (PN 10 according to EN 1092-1).
- What needs to be installed upstream of the preventer? A filter must always be installed upstream of the disconnector to protect the valves from contamination.
- Where does the escaping water go when the pressure drops? The disconnector must be connected to the sewage drain, since it releases part of the medium through the outlet when the pressure drops.
- Which standard is the device classified under? According to EN 1717 as a type BA protection unit, suitable for liquids up to contamination category 4.
