D6 series wafer-type butterfly check valves are installed directly between pipe flanges (without their own flanges) and prevent backflow of the medium in water, heating and industrial applications. The range covers dimensions from DN 50 to DN 250, with an operating temperature range of approximately -10 °C to +100 °C depending on the specific version.
Thanks to their short installation length, wafer-type check valves are particularly suitable where space needs to be saved in the plant room - for example behind pumps or upstream of other check fittings in boiler rooms and heat exchanger stations.
Frequently asked questions
- How is a wafer-type check valve installed? It is inserted directly between two pipe flanges, which clamp it together with bolts - the valve itself has no flanges of its own.
- What dimensions are available? DN 50 to DN 250.
- What is the operating temperature range? Approximately -10 °C to +100 °C, the exact range depends on the specific seal version.
- What is the valve used for? It prevents backflow of the medium and thus protects pumps and other equipment from damage caused by water hammer.
