Threaded check valves prevent backflow of the medium in the pipeline and protect pumps from water hammer; they are connected via a threaded joint in the range of approximately 2" to 4". The range also includes the BRA.T5.000 series designed for pump suction pipework, which can be fitted with a suction strainer basket that catches debris before it enters the pump.
