Hot water from air! Save on operating costs. ELÍZ heat pumps for water heating meet the latest trends in the use of green energy. They work on the air-to-water principle with a high energy efficiency class A. They successfully replace classic electric water heaters. The outdoor unit with low power consumption draws energy directly from the air, which its compressor converts into heat. The generated heat is transferred to the condensing heat exchanger, which, thanks to its large surface area around the tank, heats the water in the water heater. The heat pump system consists of 2 parts: - an outdoor unit with an evaporator and compressor - an indoor unit (water heater) with a built-in condensing heat exchanger and an additional electric heating element. These two units are connected by a copper pipe in which R134a refrigerant circulates. The recommended distance between the units is max. 8 meters. Heat pump control The entire water heating process is controlled by a digital control unit with a color display, built into the indoor unit (water heater) and connected to the control element of the outdoor unit. The electronics are controlled by simple and intuitive software specially designed to automate water heating control. After switching on the water heater, the program automatically selects the most suitable heat source. The electronics allow water heating in several modes - heat pump, electric heating element, or Intensive heating (using all heat sources simultaneously for even faster water heating). The maximum water temperature when heating with the heat pump is 55°C, and up to 75°C with additional electric coil heating. The electronics display shows heat pump operation, water temperature in the heater tank, and outdoor temperature, as well as all system and error messages (if any occur). It provides a wide range of operating parameter settings, water heating timer settings, display of statistics and graphs of electricity consumption (separately for the heat pump and for the electric heating element), and diagnostics (list) of recorded problems with exact time and date. The water heater tank is made of high-quality steel protected by a layer of zirconium enamel. High-quality CFC-free polyurethane insulation with a thickness of 33 mm ensures low heat losses, thereby increasing savings on water heating costs.
