Hot water from the air! Save on operating costs. The ELÍZ heat pump, model EWHP 120 EW for water heating, meets the latest trends in the use of green energy. It works on the air-to-water principle with a high energy efficiency class A+. It successfully replaces classic electric water heaters, where it can achieve up to 70% savings in operating costs. The white color of the pump gives it a modern look. The compact 2-in-1 pump with low power input draws energy directly from the air, which the compressor converts into heat. The heat generated is transferred to a condensing heat exchanger, which, thanks to its large surface area around the tank, heats the water in the water heater. The pump uses R290 refrigerant and an additional 1.5 kW electric heating element.  Heat pump control The entire water heating process is controlled by a digital control unit with a large touch display. The electronics are controlled by simple and intuitive software specially designed to automate water heating control. The heat pump includes a modern WIFI function, so you can control it via your smart device from anywhere in comfort. The electronics allow water heating in several modes: ECO - maximum efficiency and cost savings, only the heat pump is used AUTO - maximum hot water supply, combination of heat pump and electric heating element (the pump automatically assesses the need in case of thermal fluctuations) ELEC - backup or boosted heating using only the electric heating element BOOST - maximum comfort, intensive heating, using the heat pump and electric heating element simultaneously for even faster water heating  The water temperature when heated by the heat pump is 65°C (default temperature 50°C), and up to 75°C with additional heating by the electric heating coil. The electronics display shows the operation of the heat pump, the water temperature in the heater tank, as well as all system and error messages (if they occur). It provides a wide range of operating parameter settings, water heating timer settings, and displays statistics. The water heater tank is made of quality steel protected by a layer of zirconium enamel. High-quality CFC-free polyurethane insulation with a thickness of 38 mm ensures low heat loss and thus increases savings on water heating costs.
