Siliphos je specialny produkt, vyrabany v Nemecku a pouzivany viac ako 35 rokov v celej Europe. Ma suhlas hygienickych organov vo vsetkych krajinach EU na jeho pouzivanie pre pitnu vodu.

Siliphos performs three functions:

- On the metal surface of pipework, heating elements and coils, on nozzles, measuring and control components, taps and sanitary fittings, it forms a microfilm that completely prevents limescale build-up and rusting.

- It does not allow calcium and magnesium dissolved in the water to settle on metal and ceramic surfaces in the form of limescale.

- It gradually removes old limescale and rust deposits from metal surfaces. 

The acquisition cost is recovered very quickly, since it prevents limescale or rust incrustation forming. Limescale and rust significantly worsen heat-transfer parameters, and 30-40% more energy is consumed to heat the same amount of hot water when limescale and rust do form. The service life of energy equipment is extended. Further savings appear in reduced use of cleaning products on taps and ceramic tiling.

A flow-through unit fitted in the main drinking water supply treats all equipment (water pipework, taps, instantaneous water heaters, washing machines, dishwashers, kettles, irons, bathroom tiles, baths, toilets, etc.).

The size of the flow-through unit depends on water consumption. Since peak consumption accounts for around 66% of the daily total and lasts a maximum of 2 hours, the flow-through unit must be sized so that no water shortage occurs during peak demand. The maximum working pressure is 10 bar. Pressure loss will be minimal.
