Novy gulovy uzaver je vysledkom dlhodobeho vyvoja a narocnych prevadzkovych skusok. Pre zvysenie zivotnosti a znizenie ovladacich sil, bola vyvinuta specialne tvarovana gula a novy profil tesnenia.
Priehlbiny na povrchu gule vyrazne zmensuju stykovu plochu - usadeniny a naplavene necistoty neprichadzaju pri otacani gule do styku s tesnenim.

Sluzi ako uzatvaracia armatura v rozvodoch vody, vzduchu a dalsich neagresivnych medii. Ventil nevyzaduje udrzbu. Vlastne telo ventilu je zoskrutkovane a zlepene, tento spoj nesmie byt demontovany. Pre zarucenie tesnosti su zakazane vsetky cinnosti posobiace v smere povolenia spoja tela ventilu. Ventil nesmie byt rozobraty, zmontovany a znovu pouzity. Pri akomkolvek poskodeni (mimo vymeny motylika, alebo packy), musi byt ventil vymeneny za novy. Vykonavanie montaznych zvarov potrubia je dovolene vo vzdialenosti minimalne 20 cm od hrany uzaveru. V ziadnom pripade nesmie teplota uzaveru prekrocit 185°C. Rozvod potrubia musi byt zhotoveny tak, aby bola zarucena suosovost bez ohyboveho pnutia na ventil. Na ventil nesmu posobit narazy. V prevadzke rozvodu vody doporucujeme minimalne raz za 6 mesiacov ventil prestavit v celom rozsahu ovladania, aby sa z gule odstranili pripadne usadeniny.
