Electric pressurized storage water heaters are designed for producing hot water wherever frequent, smaller draw-offs of hot water are needed.
Heaters ESH10U-PPlus are pressurized water heaters with an operating pressure of 0.6 MPa for one or more hot water draw-off points. Their inner tank is made of steel sheet, whose interior surface is protected against corrosion by high-quality enamel and anode protection.
If connected to a special unpressurized mixing tap can also be operated as unpressurized heaters with an operating pressure of 0 MPa for a single outlet. Installing a safety valve is then not required.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What tank volume should I choose? A common consumption estimate is roughly 40-50 litres of hot water (at about 40-45 °C) per person per day under standard use (showering, washing); if you take baths or have more bathrooms/outlets, plan for a larger volume. When choosing, also consider whether the tank will be reheated by a high-output boiler (faster heating, a smaller volume may be enough) or, for example, only by a solar system (in which case a larger volume is actually worth it for storing heat during the day).
- Can I connect this TATRAMAT tank to my existing boiler? In most cases yes, but you should check the compatibility of the hydraulic connection (dimensions and type of fittings) and whether your boiler supports controlling the tank's heating (a temperature sensor in the tank and possibly a diverter valve are required) - you'll find these details in the product's technical parameters, or our customer service can advise you.
- Where and how is the tank installed? The tank is placed as close as possible to the heat source (boiler) to minimise heat losses in the connecting pipework, while still leaving enough space around it for service access (anode replacement, safety valve inspection).
- Does installation have to be done by a professional? We always recommend leaving the hydraulic connection to the water supply and the heat source, including fitting a pressure-rated safety valve, to a qualified heating engineer/installer - an incorrectly fitted or missing safety valve is a safety risk.
