Small pressurised water heaters from Tatramat and Stiebel Eltron (EO and ESH-PPlus series) are used to prepare hot water for a single draw-off point, for example a washbasin in a kitchenette, toilet or workshop. They operate under mains water pressure, so a standard pillar or wall mixer tap can be supplied from them.
Capacities of 10 and 15 litres are enough for everyday hand-washing or dishwashing, and depending on the model they are mounted above or below the washbasin.
Frequently Asked Questions
- What is the difference between a pressurised and an unpressurised water heater? A pressurised water heater is connected to the water mains and can handle a standard mixer tap, while an unpressurised one needs a special unpressurised tap.
- Can I connect a pressurised water heater to several draw-off points? No, the small pressurised water heaters in this category are designed for a single draw-off point.
- Is it mounted above or below the washbasin? It depends on the specific model - both mounting options are available in the range (e.g. "under washbasin" and "above washbasin" in the product name).
