Carbon steel for heating and radiator connections (galvanised steel)
Carbon steel pipes and fittings are made of high-quality low-carbon steel. On the outside they are covered with a thin layer of zinc, which provides anti-corrosion protection for the outer surface of the pipes and fittings and gives the piping and couplings an attractive finish similar to silver or stainless steel. In the case of stainless steel the use of high-grade steel allows the system to be used for transporting corrosion-aggressive media and wherever long service life and trouble-free operation are required.

- Is special tooling needed for installation? Yes, the joints are made by pressing with press pliers fitted with the correct jaw for the given pipe diameter.
- Can carbon steel be combined with copper or plastic? Transitions to other materials (copper, PEX, multilayer pipe) are handled using threaded transition fittings; direct contact between different metals without protection is not recommended.
