The PRESS GAS stainless steel system is designed specifically for natural gas pipelines in professional installations. Fittings (elbows, T-pieces, sockets) are colour-coded yellow and certified for use with gas, clearly distinguishing them from ordinary stainless fittings for water and heating.
Installation is carried out by pressing using certified press pliers with a jaw designed for the GAS system. The joint is gas-tight and meets the requirements for safe installation of gas pipelines.
Frequently asked questions
- How does the PRESS GAS system differ from ordinary stainless fittings? PRESS GAS fittings are certified specifically for natural gas pipelines, have yellow marking, and a different seal than fittings designed for water or heating.
- Must the installation be carried out by a certified installer? For gas pipelines we recommend entrusting the installation to a qualified person authorized to work on gas equipment, in accordance with applicable regulations.
- What press pliers are needed? Press pliers with a jaw designed for the GAS system are used, ensuring correct compression of the seal certified for gas.
- Can GAS fittings also be used for water? This is not common practice - even though they may fit dimensionally, the seal and certification are intended exclusively for gas.
