The submersible two-pole asynchronous electric motor with mechanical parts is made of stainless steel AISI 304. The rotor runs in sliding
radial bearings, axial load is taken up by a robust sliding thrust bearing. Lubrication and cooling of the radial bearings and the thrust-bearing pan is by a liquid filling. The stator is hermetically sealed in a stainless steel housing filled with a mixture of internal gases based on argon. The winding leads (with a protective conductor) are brought out over the pump through a sealed connector as a flat four-core lead, where the customer's own supply cable can be connected without difficulty. Starting and protection of the single-phase motor is generally provided e.g. by a CONTROL BOX starting box, containing a starting capacitor and a manually resettable
motor overload protection. For heavier starting duty the CONTROL HS system is intended. Protection of the three-phase motor is the responsibility of the user.
