The submersible two-pole asynchronous rewindable electric motor with mechanical parts is made of AISI 304 stainless steel. The rotor is housed in sliding radial bearings, while the axial load is absorbed by a robust sliding thrust bearing. Lubrication and cooling of the radial bearings and thrust bearing pad is provided by an FDA-grade oil fill. The stator is hermetically sealed in an AISI 304L stainless steel casing. The winding leads (with protective conductor) are brought out above the pump through a tight connector as a flat four-core cable, allowing trouble-free connection of your own supply cable. Starting and protection of the single-phase motor is typically handled by, for example, a CONTROL BOX starting unit containing a starting capacitor and a manually resettable motor overload protection. Protection of the three-phase motor is the responsibility of the user.
