Unlike other demineralising cartridges for topping up heating systems, the IVAR.SUREFILL DEMI cartridge contains an integrated colour indicator, which quickly changes colour from dark blue to beige when the cartridge is exhausted.

This unique feature allows an immediate and precise visual check while at the same time ensuring that the top-up water is always of the correct quality, and without the need to use electronic measuring instruments.

• How often does the filter/filter cartridge need to be replaced or cleaned? The interval depends on the quality of the incoming water and intensity of use - we recommend regular visual inspection and cleaning/replacement according to the manufacturer's instructions, or when flow rate visibly drops.
• Where is the filter installed? Usually on the main water supply into the building, upstream of sensitive equipment (boiler, water system), so that it protects the entire downstream system from impurities.
• Must installation be carried out by a professional? We recommend having the connection to the water piping carried out by a plumber, especially if it requires interrupting the existing pipework.
