• How often does the filter/filter cartridge need to be changed or cleaned? The interval depends on the quality of the incoming water and how intensively it is used - we recommend a regular visual check and cleaning/replacement according to the manufacturer's instructions, or whenever flow visibly drops.
• Where is the filter installed? Usually on the main water supply into the building, ahead of sensitive equipment (boiler, water pump system), so that it protects the whole downstream system from dirt.
• Must the installation be done by a professional? We recommend having the connection to the water pipework carried out by a plumber, especially if it requires cutting into existing pipework.
