• How often does the filter/filter cartridge need to be replaced or cleaned? The interval depends on the quality of the incoming water and the intensity of use - we recommend regular visual inspection and cleaning/replacement as per the manufacturer's instructions, or whenever flow visibly drops.
• Where is the filter installed? Usually on the main water supply into the building, upstream of sensitive equipment (boiler, water system), so that it protects the whole downstream system from impurities.
• Does installation have to be done by a professional? We recommend having the connection to the water piping done by a plumber, especially if it requires cutting into the existing pipework.
