Water used in plumbing systems contains a certain amount of dissolved salts, calcium and magnesium, which cause water hardness. When water is heated, its original hardness changes (through a chemical reaction between calcium carbonate and carbon dioxide). While the calcium carbonate present precipitates and causes scaling (crusting) in equipment, the carbon dioxide promotes corrosion. It is therefore advisable, especially for small domestic appliances, to fit simple magnetic descalers, which prevent these processes and require no maintenance or special supervision.

ANTIKAL series magnetic treatment is suitable for treating drinking water. Installation is very simple thanks to the DIMA connection. The magnetic treatment unit is compact. It is connected at the start, before the plumbing system, before the boiler, water heater, or washing machine.
