Note: In the case of branching a gas pipeline below ground level using an IVAR.PRESS-GAS T-piece, the fitting must be placed in a suitable plastic box (e.g. type INST 2812), where the conduit's passage into the installation box can be gas-tightly sealed with butyl rubber compound, so that any gas leak can be detected in line with the principles set out in PTN 704 05.
