Note: It is dosed at a 0.5% concentration relative to the water volume in the heating system (i.e. 0.5 litre per every 100 litres of water in the heating system).

• How often does the filter/filter cartridge need to be changed or cleaned? The interval depends on the quality of the incoming water and intensity of use - we recommend regular visual inspection and cleaning/replacement per the manufacturer's instructions, or whenever flow noticeably drops.
• Where is the filter installed? Usually on the main water supply into the building, ahead of sensitive equipment (boiler, water system), so it protects the whole downstream system from impurities.
• Must installation be done by a professional? We recommend having the connection to the water supply carried out by a plumber, especially if it requires cutting into the existing pipework.
