• How often does the filter/filter cartridge need to be changed or cleaned? The interval depends on the quality of the incoming water and the intensity of use - we recommend regular visual inspection and cleaning/replacement according to the manufacturer's instructions, or whenever flow visibly drops.
• Where is the filter installed? Usually on the main water supply into the building, ahead of sensitive equipment (boiler, water pump system) so that it protects the entire downstream system from impurities.
• Must installation be done by a professional? We recommend having the connection to the water system carried out by a plumber, especially if it requires cutting into existing pipework.
