• What tools do I need to install this fitting? Press fittings require specialized press pliers with the correct jaw type (commonly marked B, F, or TH depending on the system) matching the size and type of the fitting - without the proper tool, the joint cannot be made or checked.
• How do I know the joint has been pressed correctly? Quality press fittings have a press indicator (e.g. a sealing O-ring that leaks if pressing is incomplete) - a pressure test of the entire system should always be carried out before embedding it in a wall or floor screed.
