• What tools do I need to install this fitting? Press fittings require specialized crimping pliers with the correct jaw type (commonly marked B, F, or TH depending on the system) matching the size and type of the fitting - without the proper tools, the joint cannot be made or checked.
• How do I know the joint has been properly pressed? Quality press fittings have a press indicator (e.g. a sealing O-ring that leaks if the pressing is not completed) - a pressure test of the entire system must always be carried out before it is embedded in a wall or screed.
